Llangennith grows....... we will provide raised beds for hall user groups to tend. This could include toddler group, youth club, village club etc and anyone else who wants to join but is not part of another user group. Through this flowers and produce can be planted etc
Annual Summer Fun day – lots of activities, games, stalls – all ideas and volunteers to plan and support welcome.
Continue with the Easter Egg Hunt and build on this.
Would you like to set up your own formal or informal user group to use the new facilities in the hall field, support the fund raising effort etc.? This is your community facility and all ideas and offers of support are welcome.
Are there any other events you would like to see in the field e.g. strawberry teas, teddy bears picnics, village show, village French cricket or rounder’s event etc – please let us know. All ideas and help are welcome.
We have the following project indicators we are aiming to meet by the end of our project:
Children’s playground used by 125 children a year (these numbers will also be supported by children attending events)
Grand opening event/ fun day attended by 250 people and plan in place for 2 other events with 80+ individuals attending each.
Youth club, Youth gym club, fit kids, toddlers to use the park and leisure facilities once a week weather permitting
Consultation on range of informal sports equipment that the community want to see provided. Minimum of 150 respondents
3 new user groups established to use the new play and informal sports facilities
No complaints about the cold hall and poor heating once the ground source heat pump is installed!
How can you help?
Ideas support and help with any of the points above.
Fundraising ideas and support
Tell us what you would like to see from the facilities and use the facilities as much as possible.
If you are part of an existing hall user group, we would like a volunteer from each to provide information to the Hall Field sub group. This will be brief records of the numbers of times your group used the new facilities, numbers of people involved and what you did. This will help us report our progress to the Big Lottery Fund
Do you have any knowledge or skills that we could use? – Please come and talk to us, we'd love to hear from you.
