Saturday Drama Club

Every Saturday, Llangennith Village Hall comes alive with drama, movement, music, imagination and plenty of laughter.

Saturday Drama Club is a performance-based drama group where children develop confidence, creativity and communication skills through drama games, improvisation, movement, voice, singing and character work.

Our sessions are carefully planned so that the games have a purpose. Children might think they're simply having fun — but they're also learning to listen, focus, project their voices, use the performance space, work as an ensemble and have the confidence to stand in front of an audience.

We believe there is a place for every child. They don't have to be the strongest singer, dancer or actor. Activities and performance roles can be adapted so that children with different abilities and levels of confidence can participate, contribute and progress.

Throughout the year we work towards live performances and original productions, giving the children the experience of taking what they have learned in rehearsals and putting it onto the stage.

£10.50 per session, payable in six-week blocks
