These yoga classes are inclusive and available to all ages and abilities.
Having practised yoga for over 25 years and taught for the 9 of those, there is full understanding and appreciation of how the body and mind tend to work against each other unless we consciously make the time and effort to encourage them to work cohesively through the practice of yoga.
Trained in movement through Ashtanga, Vinyasa as well as Pranayama (breathwork), the yoga I offer is a means of strengthening the body, assisting flexibility and building stamina. Equally, the classes bring space into the mind and a sense of calmness and fulfilment.
The Vinyasa Flow is more energetic than the Restorative class. Monday’s class is physical and well as mindful. It is intended to open-up the energy channels to encourage full participation in the week ahead. Friday’s Restorative class is more accessible for those with any injuries or mobility issues. The class is slower pace, seeking self awareness as well as self acceptance.
The class is a drop-in class so those who have commitments that prevent coming each week can still attend.
The classes are also available for all those who want to try for the first time, or are holidaying in the area.
The current hourly charge is £6.00.
I also teach separate one-to-one yoga sessions in a dedicated space. I am available for independent workshops and festivals.
